I was walking my dog earlier this evening thinking about so many things. You know when your mind is full of the cares of life and this scripture came into my spirit. It’s a simple scripture. We memorized in Sunday school. We have it hanging on our walls and have it on bumper stickers on our cars.
However if we’re honest with ourselves and with God, we can admit that trusting is not easy. This is true if we’re trusting in people or own selves. But the scripture says trust in the Lord. Trust in the One that is all powerful and all mighty. Trust in the One who is all knowing and ever present. Trust in the One who loves you more than anyone in this world.
Trust Him with your whole heart. Trust Him with your everything. I know that it’s not easy. We’re so used to trying to do things for ourselves. We’re so used to leaning to our own understanding, but when we do that we can’t hear His voice and we miss His instructions.
So as this day comes to an end and you go to sleep tonight…..trust God. Trust Him. He won’t leave you or forsake you. He won’t let you down and He’s got your back. Rest in Him. Hope in Him. Trust Him.
